I was an active member over on the fertility forum and moved over here when I fell pregnant with my daughter in April 2018 after undergoing IVF. My beautiful daughter was born in January 2019.
I took a break from the forums 6 months ago as, at a time when you are still finding your feet as a mum and feeling all kinds of mum guilt, I found myself not mentally strong enough to participate. I regret deleting my old account as it documented most of my infertility journey, but I did what felt right at the time.
I recognise a lot of names on here, most from the Fertility forum, and it is so lovely to see that you are all doing well with your babies 😊 I can't believe I will have a one year old in a couple of weeks - the time has flown!!
I hope you've all had a lovely christmas x

Hiya 👋🏼 I too have a little girl via IVF. She will be two in February and can’t believe how quickly it’s gone. Hope you had a lovely first Christmas xx
Everybody says it flies by and they are not lying! This time last year I was eagerly awaiting her arrival and now I'm thinking about her first birthday! Crazy! Christmas hasn't been great due to illnesses, unfortunately! I was upset initially but I'm over it now and know there will plenty of others. In fact we are going to do a mini christmas dinner at home when she is better as she didn't get one this year 😊 Hope you've had a good one xx
