Driving myself mad!!

Hello mummies, please help!

We had a crazy time just over a year ago when we found out we were expecting again when my little one was only 4 months old. I came here for advice as we didn't know what to do, and we ended up is miscarrying at 9 weeks, which I partly blame myself for, for not being so overjoyed on the news. We decided to come off the pill for a bit and let nature decide if we were to have another (this was mid August) and we've found out were expecting....yay!! Only thing is, I keep panicking that I'm miscarrying. Every twinge im rushing to the toilet expecting to see blood, I'm losing sleep and I'm hungry 24/7 (I'm worried I might be stress eating and not actually hungry) anyone got any tips for taking a deep breath coz I'm going insane 🙈

Hi, the only advice I can give is to try to stay positive as long as you are not bleeding or not in pain everything looks on the good way (please note that pain and bleeding not always mean miscarriage but definitely can be worry). I have been in your situation so I know that once you had a MC you will never fully enjoy next pregnancy as you will always worry. I tried to keep testing to give myself assurance - very bad idea as sometimes the line is just lighter and it means nothing so really except trying to stay positive and look after yourself there isn’t much you can do. Xx

After two miscarriages I felt like this when I finally fell pregnant with my daughter. Early scans helped, which you can pay for. Also I just gave myself a firm talking to and told myself to try to relax and appreciate the pregnancy because you can’t stop a miscarriage by worrying.

I would say don’t worry about anything like you said about nature, I’d it’s not time again then unfortunately it won’t be time and there isn’t anything anyone can do 😔 just distress and so whatever you can to relax for the baby. Track your eating to find out if you are stress eating and then try and stop doing that! Best of luck to you lovely and hope to hear you’ve got another bundle ❤️

Thank you ladies for taking the time to reply! I've given myself a firm talking to in the mirror and I'm going to try and relax a bit (probably wont but I did only say I'd try haha) I've also booked an early scan for this saturday so am hoping once I see a little.blob and things all look good, I'll be able to relax a bit and just enjoy the pregnancy!! Xx

It’s 100% understandable why your like this and everyone knows why! I know it’s easier said than done but do try and chill and relax. Leave the worrying and stress to everyone else. Little bubba is all that matters through the next 9 months!

You’ve got this and everything will be okay x

Just thought I'd update you all. Had a scan Saturday and saw a tiny little beating blob. It really helped to see it all growing as it should so just wanted to thank you all for your tips and advice! I'm sleeping a lot better and actually getting excited so yay!! Take care ladies xxx
