I’m 10 weeks pregnant very excited about everything. First scan booked for 16th October:) nervous about this but looking forward to it.

I’m wondering what everyone has done for back ache?

I have been using deep freeze rub (deep heat affects me), paracetamol and hot water bottle.

What’s the best to do?

I did some pregnancy yoga and kept as active as possible.

If you are having really bad back issues you could speak to your GP about getting referred for physiotherapy.

Find a pregnancy Pilates class. Check your posture, stand up tall, swing your hips back and forth. Do pelvic floor fast and slow contractions and abdominal hollowing to strengthen your core and support your back. X

My scan is the day after yours, I hope it goes well 😊 it sounds like you are doing everything you can, my midwife told me I can self refer to a Physio for backache so that may be an option for you. Good luck x
