I had started the pill on July 21st and had used it for 13 days before my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex twice. The same day I got plan B and took it. I was supposed to have my period August 15th but it’s been 4 weeks and I’m a little nervous. I took 6 pregnancy tests all spaced between three weeks and they all came out negative. However I had a week of semi normal spotting and two days where a clob of Brown was on my toilet paper when I wiped. Recently, looking at my stomach there’s a small bump under my bellybutton and I’m a little worried. Should I freak out even though every test was negative or be slightly concerned?

Period late, Plan B + Combination Pill
Hey lovely, we’re you still taking your pill when you had unprotected sex? If so it’s unlikely that you will have fallen pregnant. I’m not really clued up on plan B so I couldn’t comment on possible side effects with bleeding etc but I’d say the only way to say for sure is to 1. Do another test in a week or so 2. Get a gp to do bloods then you’ll know for sure. It’s unlikely that you would notice a bump at this early stage sweet maybe if it’s your period you are slightly bloated I absolutely balloon when it’s that time ☹️ I hope you get sorted out sweet, let us know how you get on xxx
I was still on the pill when I had unprotected sex. I did a good job at taking it same time every day. This whole experience is really stressful and I wanted some advice. Thank you
You have come to the right place for advice there are so many lovely people who can help. I don’t actually think you’ve had unprotected sex sweetie as that’s the job of your pill unless it’s a kind that would require extra protection? If not I’d say you’ve been pretty safe 🙂 if it’s a new pill maybe the usual bleeding could be your body trying to get into a new cycle? ❤️ Xxx
My nurse actually told me to get off the pill because my body had too many hormones in it. I actually thought the spotting was my period because i wore a heavy pad and it lasted my usual cycle.
