I got my bfp today!!!! Just remembered that I have my sil wedding coming up in 2 weeks; for me to be able to wear the dress I bought for her wedding I need to wear Spanx, I will only be 6+2 at her wedding do you think this is an issue?!

Ps sorry if this is a stupid/obvious question...

Pps I’m one of those who doesn’t like to tell anyone I’m pregnant till I’ve seen the 12week scan...

Congratulations! Obviously everyone is different but I was bridesmaid at my sister’s wedding at 6+2 and I didn’t have any issues with the dress I’d got before becoming pregnant.

I wasn’t wearing spanx but can’t see why this would be a problem although it can be quite normal to get a bit of bloating in early pregnancy.

Thanks for the response, it’s a fishtail dress and I’m a bit bigger so def need Spanx to hold all my bits in 😂😂

I also didn’t know if it would be bad for the baby but I just googled it and saw that it’s ok just maybe a little uncomfortable

Aw I’m sure it’ll be fine. Shouldn’t be any problems for baby and I hope you have a lovely time.

My dress was actually just off the shelf, not very much like a bridesmaids dress at all as it was a Vegas wedding. I was a bit self-conscious of my tummy despite only being size 8-10 but nobody knew except my sister and parents and nobody else noticed 😊

Wow Vegas wedding sounds fun! This wedding will be very formal, we’re not official bridesmaids as she decided she had too many close family and friends so she gave us a colour theme for our dresses instead. My daughter though is going to be a flower girl we are very excited!!!

I can hopefully blame being designated driver on not drinking alcohol 😂 such like an obvious excuse 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

JoJo do pregnancy hold ins, specifically designed to smooth out, but not be uncomfortable. I love mine
