Hey, I'm 36 weeks pregnant and have a wedding coming up, not my own!!! Struggling to find anything to wear! Everywhere sells really casual things and that's what I had bought. Does anyone know anywhere I could get a nice maternity dress??

Hey Merida, have a look on ebay. Most ladies by maternity dresses for occasions and only have them on there back once.

Next is fantastic, maternity online only, also worth looking on amazon :)

depending upon how soon the wedding is you may want to try lightinthebox.com they are from china and can take unbearably long for sending a dress or anything you buy from them but that is because the things are tailor-made and go through customs check etc.

I got my bridesmaid dresses from them and they were quite good quality, the finishing was also good but took 45 working days to have them plus i had to pay additional custom charges when the dresses were delievred. But hey still Got really beautiful lace and tulle dresses for 80 pounds each

I personally like this dress a lot

and I think in a subtle color would look great on a pregnant woman with a narrow back :)

Try Seraphina, it has both a casual and formal section and really lovely stuff you can wear while breast feeding as well.

I would also recommend Seraphina. My other half has been spoiling me with beautiful dresses and clothes from them :-)

I was at a wedding this Sat and my dress was from Red Herring at Debenhams, not sure if you would like or your style but it worked for me and my 22 week bump, there is a lot of room in the dress for growth so might be good for you. I really struggled to find occasion wear and I wasn't prepared to spend a fortune on a dress I will not get wear out of. I wore this with satin black peep toes with corsage and a black clutch, was all good I thought anyway lol.

thanks! hadn't realised debenhams sell maternity clothes. I prefer trying things on so will pop in too!

yeah, Red Herring is their only Mat Wear...so many high street shops have stopped stocking it now, I am resisting maternity wear as much as possible, I might have gotten away with a normal dress for this wedding but panicked that I wouldn't have anything or that I would grow out of something that once fitted so this dress was a good deal and I brought online, they delivered quite quickly. In actual fact it would have been the boobs that would have outgrown the dress not the bump ;)

Isabella Oliver - fairly expensive, but gorgeous! You can pick up bargains on EBay though! Xx

Tiffany rose have amazing clothes, not cheap though... beautiful fabrics and top quality. I got married on 6th April didn't want a white gown as renewing vows next year in a more traditional celebration

If you're not wanting to spend much they had some really nice dresses in New Look (not all stores stock their mat wear unfortunately, but try online) Some were a little casual but some you could dress up or down so you would get more wear out of it than just the wedding (?) Hope that helps :)
