Lower back pain

One or two days before my fertility window, I always get crippling back pain. Hurts to move, I have a high pain threshold so I get on with it, but it is sore. Anyone have anything similar or know what might be going on please? Thank you

I get ovulation pains I had back pains for a whole week after ovulation one month. Some months it’s worse than others although it can be painful I’d rather have pains and know I’m ovulating than guessing.

During the 2.5yrs I was trying to get pregnant i’d get intense ovulation pain every month. It wasn’t in my back but low on the left side at the front of my pelvis, together with bloating that made my lower abdomen tender/painful for about 12-24hrs.

It was uncomfortable, but as with gcw104, at least it meant I knew when I was ovulating.

Have you had any checks to see if there’s something causing the pain? Have you have an HSG test for example? Don’t just accept the back or ovulation pain

I had a whole raft of tests (including HSG) while I was trying to conceive. No clear explanation. I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant (naturally) so the pain has not been an issue for a while 😉
