Private scans in Essex.

Hi

Can anyone recommend where to go for a private scan? Everything is fine with the baby, but my mum told me last night she’s never seen a scan in real life (wasn’t around when she was pregnant with me) so thought I’d book one and invite her? Top daughter points right 😝

Aw that’s lovely for you to do that for her. I’m not in your area but I went to Window to the Womb which I think is national. I think I’ve also heard of somewhere called baby bond? Xx

If you go onto good old Google it will normally show you your nearest clinics for private scans and see reviews. There's always lots about x

My advice would be also to make sure you go to a provider who is a qualified sonographer. Unfortunately there are a lot of places offering private baby scans that aren’t being carried out by qualified sonographers. They don’t know what they are looking at and if it’s normal/abnormal.

Plus I hear that they spend too long scanning over the babies head and this can cause heat over the brain which could be harmful.
