Sweep ...

Hi all , had a sweep today 38+4 . Scored 3 on bishops scale . Medium cervix , posterior 1cm dilated and 2.5 long ( sounds technical!) not favourable for induction this week so booked for 40 weeks .

That was about 1.30pm and have been having tightening since then and now 5pm . Do you recon they are at BH? Not had at all in the whole pregnancy. Third baby

Can things change that quick from sweep ...

I had sweep 2 years ago at 40 weeks baby no 3 1-2 cm dialted had baby within 3 hours !! Not sure if ot was just the sweep or just good timing so maybe just keep an eye on things and see??? Good luck anyway nearly there ! Xx

My last was under 2 hours . Just not sure as was unfavourable for induction ... keep you posted !

No more than normal but as I haven’t kept much down I don’t expect much ! Lazy day on sofa x

Bless you just rest hun , try and keep yourself hydrated. I’m going in next Saturday to have my baby boy , but the past few days my bowels have been a bit looser.

When are you do to have an induction? Xx

Wow so your having a girl? I have 3 daughters and this is our prince. 2 of my girls were over due and one came on their due date.
