Anyone here with diabetes and pregnant

I'm 31 weeks and just been told that I've got diabetes type 2 and was just wondering if any of you have and what is not good to eat as most of my cravings are sweety stuff lol

I’m not diabetic but you might find this website useful- it has some recipe ideas.

It’s hard if you are craving sweet things- fruit is better than other sweet things but your body will still have trouble dealing with the sugars from fruit and it will cause your blood sugar to rise. Berries are a bit lower sugar than some other fruits. Avoid dried fruits and grapes. Be careful with your portions of rice, bread and pasta.

A bit of a late response! A friend of mine is type 2 and has just had her little girl, now 6 days old. She followed a ketogenic diet before and during her pregnancy that really worked well for her. Midwives were almost shocked to see her levels staying so consistent. I know through there she was able to have some sweet things without her sugars going all over the place, maybe have a look into it?
