Im 9 weeks into my second pregnancy, and have a constant nagging ache in my tummy. Its driving me mad, i cant sleep, it gets increasingly painful for seemingly no apparent reason. Ive had an early scan and everything was fine.
Now that everything has shown up fine on the scan, no one seems interested. The pain put me in a&e two nights in a row.
I’ve tried trapped wind remedies as i have a stoma, so quite often get trapped wind, ive tried heatpacks on my tummy and back, ive tried massaging my tummy, ive taken my painkillers, nothing seems to work
I have chronic pain with my back and i’m on strong painkillers for that but this pain is just really getting to me.
Its making my depression worse, i cant sleep, i can barely interact with my one year old son. Im utterly fed up and dont know what to do. I end up spending most of the day laying down curled up in pain, barely eating.
This pregnancy was an unexpected one, both pill and condom failed, but i still dearly want this child however if this carries on along with my other health problems, i dont know if i can continue this pregnancy, and its breaking my heart
I dont know what to do, does anyone have any advice please?

Aw hun I feel for you , you must be in so much pain. I would ring your midwife and explain to her how you feel and how it’s making you wanting this child but the pain is that bad you can’t cope with day to day life or caring for your one year old , maybe then someone will take you seriously and help or look into it for you. I hope you get it sorted! I’m struggling with a pain in my back which I usually have tablets for but haven’t been able to take them since being pregnant. Xx
Ive tried all of that, my partner called epu and really ranted at them so i now have an appointment tomorrow morning. Hopefully this time they womt just fob me off, im really at the end of my tether. If it wasnt for my inlaws my son just flat out wouldnt be looked after properly as i physically cant manage.
Crohns flare up, thankfully, but also unfortunately, as i cant have steriods for it due to a mass on my spine, and the other treatments arent reccommended during pregnancy. Woohoo! Giving up and ordeing pizza for tea before i have to go on a super restricted diet for a few weeks.
