Have you got a pregnancy pillow? You might need extra support. I get back pain at night on and off, speak to your midwife if its really affecting you.
I just order mine a couple days ago fingers crossed🤞🏼im hoping it helps
I was the same throughout my pregnancy although the pain was in my hips. I bought extra regular pillows and had them to prop me up as sleeping more upright was comfortable for longer periods. Also I had a pillow between my knees. Try and experiment with different positions and hopefully you will find something more comfortable. Regardless of what I did, I was still up for the loo throughout the night. Good luck!
I been trying everything you can possibly think of...i sleep with pillows everywhere haha. i notice that i feel better when i sleep on my back for a couple minutes but i know its not very good to do that...😣 i bought the maternity pillow i should get it in the next couple days & hope that helps a little
I’m having real trouble now at almost 37 weeks. Does anyone wake up with really dead legs and arms on the side they have been sleeping? Then you need to get up and walk around to ease it but it’s painful then hard to get back to sleep! Lol I have to laugh because it’s really uncomfortable! Why is it bad to sleep on your back? I read it was so avoid it but now have the dead side issue ☹️ X
i had terrible insomnia in my third trimester, awake 3 hours in the night, wide awake from 6am. It was actually a relief when i had a newborn and slept better despite being up 4/5 times every night to feed!! I think i was that shattered in between i zonked out! No advice, just that it's normal and passes (and is good practice for having a newborn!)
