baby sleeping bags
I tried mine out last night and lil one seemed fine and it looked really cosy... also gave me piece of mind that he can’t kick his blanket on his face.. give it try xx
I will do thank you xx
Not sure how Old is your child and how crafty- mine just escapes his sleeping bag 😢 he's a very slim boy.
If you have one at home - try it! We loved them for more than 1,5 years! Wish he would not get out of it and still would sleep in one - they are so cosy & warm.
he is 14 weeks old.... its only recently he started kicking his blanket off.... so I thought I would give it ago but wasn't sure at first..... but I will give it ago tonight see how he goes thank you xx
Hey hun, all I can say is trial and error, every baby is different, my little one wouldn’t go in one at all and wouldn’t settle in them but I’ve heard others go on about how great they can be, give it a try hun, if your worries about overheating or not being warm enough, maybe try the lowest tog first with a blanket on top and work your way up as you get more comfy xx
I’ve not personally tried one, my son is 5yrs old and I have a baby due in July... my little boy was a nightmare for kicking his blankets off, so I have invested in one for when this baby is born. In the vein hope that this baby will sleep more than my son did. So let me know how you find them. X
My little boy loves his sleeping bag now (he’s nearly 12 months) but didn’t start using them until he was about 5 months old as he was swaddled before that.
Had to transition out of the swaddle when he started rolling over which took a little time but we find the sleeping bags really good. I can’t imagine him keeping a blanket on!
I think they're great and we used one for ages with my son. The only problem is I worried his arms would get cold. Managed to find one that had arm pieces sp that fixed that problem.
Just make sure your baby's head can't fir through the neck part so he can't wriggle in.
I didnt know you could get one with the arms on it I just thought they come without.... I will have to have a look for the arm ones.... I will give this one ago first see how he goes xx
I swear by ours for our LB they really are fabulous, we go a size up though as it gives more leg room and he has a fairly big head so it won’t slip through the neck hole.
Love ours, our daughter is a wriggling leg kicker, blankets have never had a chance. I stuck with blankets when she was very young to help with temperature regulation but once she was bigger I moved her into a sleeping bag. Don’t worry about getting ones with arms, I found in the winter just putting a long sleeved bodysuit under the sleepsuit gave extra warmth, they are also good for warmer nights without the sleepsuit on top so their arms are covered but their body doesn’t get too hot. I wish I’d taken one the night we spent in A&E with her, she kept kicking her blankets off and her core temperature dropped, the nurses had fun with a game of ‘replace the blanket’ 😂 Like others have said just make sure they can’t wiggle their heads through the opening x
he didn't like his sleeping bag.... put it on him last night and he cryed till I took it off so wont be using that again lol thanks for your replies much appreciated xxx
Love them and they’re recommended for safe sleeping too. Just make sure the neck hole isn’t too wide so that your baby can’t slip down inside and follow the manufacturers recommendations re: tog and clothing according to the room temperature. I used gro-snugs at first until my baby was around 11 weeks and they were perfect x
