So my little girl has all if a sudden started to play up as soon as we put her too bed. She falls asleep whilst having her milk, as soon as we put her in bed, she’s screaming the place down.
She sits up in bed screaming, we leave her for a long as we can, but I hate hearing her screaming crying.
She’s hit 8 months, so I know she’s going through a leap and sleep regression aswell. Once she eventually goes too sleep, she can either sleep through the night or will sleep on me.
She was on me most of last night, I managed to get 3 hours in my bed, this is just sleep regression, separation anxiety, teething???

I expect it’s just a phase. We just had exactly the same thing at the end of August until recently and it was bloody awful. Thought she was never going to go back to how she was but thankfully all normal now. You just have to go with the flow. I don’t like leaving her to scream and cry to sleep so I do sit with her and just have to tell myself it’s not forever xx
Oh wow August that was a very long time. It’s horrible leaving them screaming and crying, as soon as we pick her up she snuggles into our necks and go too sleep, but when we put her down, it’s hell x
Yeah it felt like the longest time ever and she only wanted me so I was getting her to sleep and settling her when she woke up in the night. I was exhausted 😴 x
See she normally only wants me, but she has been settling on husband, which is helping. Last night he slept downstairs and we had our bed, I know I shouldn’t bed share, but it was done safely. Little girl slept all night and didn’t even roll over (when she’s in her bed, she lays on front) X
my lb like that now he 9 1/2 months old and been like it since 8 months old..... its horrible when they cry and just want you to pick them up.... my husband is the worst as soon as our boy starts crying he there.... hope she ain't like it for long for you xx
Most likely a phase, maybe due to separation anxiety but maybe consider whether there’s any possibility she might be uncomfortable lying down (ear infection? teething?)
Just do whatever you need to do to make her feel safe and secure, and make sure you take it in turns where you can so it’s not just you losing all the sleep. Hope it settles soon!
