I’m 4 days overdue and yesterday I had bad cramping and blood stained urine in the loo, nothing when I wiped and no blobs or anything like that.

Today I’ve had severe cramping all day with no let up, also had my urine checked by the midwife, it was +3 for blood. She was sending it off Incase of infection. She also said the babies head is so far down that the pains could possibly be coming from that. Although that doesn’t explain the blood.

She did a sweep and I’ve had some pink discharge since. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I’m starting to get a little worried as there is no let up in the pain/cramps.

The blood and pink discharge could be the mucus plug that’s come away xx

You’re prob going to be in labour soon xx

Yes the plug of mucus. After a sweep, I’d say your in very early labour at least that’s how mine was it’s slow and can get very uncomfortable.

If you feel well have intercourse if the midwife said your fine, sperm can stimulate labour judes st like the gel they use in hospitals so it may help. However if the midwife is worried about infection avoid it. It just may jumpstart things.

Keep an eye on yourself if you don’t feel right go to maternity, but I would think your on your way. Good luck 🤰🏼
