Im 39 weeks pregnant lower bac...

Im 39 weeks pregnant lower back pain and loads of pressure/pain so over tired now and fed up i had 2 ring the hospital they told me 2 take paras and relax but didnt work its been over a week . I went 2 c tbe midwife yesterday and asked if she would give me a sweep but she refused and said she will in 2 weeks time could i request one

Awwwww lovely I feel for you try bouncing on a ball going for long walks. I don't think they'll do one till your over due hun. Xxx

They won't usually give you a sweep until your due date hun xx

At my antenatal class last week the Midwife did tell us that they’re not allowed to give a sweep until your overdue, unless they’re requested to do it by a GP or other medical person.
