30 wks pregnant. What is with the agonising pain on my pubic bone owwwwcccch! It’s hurts that much I could cry. Turn over in bed, it hurts, get out of bed, it hurts, getting in and out the car it hurts. Sitting down it hurts. Does anyone else experience or experienced this?

It's called symphasis pubis syndrome.. I had it with my son his head was pushing on my pubic bone from about 20 weeks.. It is common and uncomfortable.. I used hot water bottle and panadol and found that if I sat with my feet slightly elevated it helped

Yeah it's very sore and common. Have you got a birthing ball? Exercises on there can strengthen the muscles around them. It's the relaxin hormone separating your pelvis in preparation for birth but it starts early unfortunately. The stronger the muscles around it the more it can hold it in. Not fun but definitely worth it x

As the other ladies have said. It’s also known as pelvic girdle pain (pgp). Pregnancy yoga can help, also keep knees together and turn your whole body when getting out of a car, sitting down etc, and sleep with a cushion between your knees to support your hips. Don’t do anything that might widen your legs/hips out too much. Are you in the UK? You can also be referred for specific Pilates classes that deal with pgp (one of my friends did this). X
