Red spotting at 5 weeks

Hi, I just wondered if anyone had any advice. I recently found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant with my third child. With my first, I had implantation bleed around 6 weeks, which was a dark brownish colour and was fine. I had none with my second, but this time I have been having little streaks of red blood very occasionally when I wipe myself after the toilet (sorry to be graphic). This has been going on for 4 days. I've been to the doctors, but it is too early for an early scan. I'm worried that it is the early stages of a miscarriage, but am not sure if I'm being over dramatic?

Could it be a UTI if only on wiping it's likely that it's from urinary tract. I has UTI with my first and just recently with my 2nd....they play havoc in pregnancy because of all hormones. Lack of space etc. Although you're still early this could be the cause. Drink plenty (loads) of water and pop to GP's with a sample.

This might sound weird bit are you sure the blood is from your vagina? It is possible to be from the anus (piles)
