Backstory: On February 14, 2017 I had an intrauterine fetal demise due to a congenital heart defect. Delivered the fetus naturally at 18 weeks, bled for about a week, no further issues. Doc said no need to wait to try again as they were confident it was a spontaneous defect. On March 20, I started what I think was my period except that the blood was brighter red than usual and didn't contain any clots. Contributed this to the fact that my lining had been shed with baby and hadn't built up much again. DTD several times throughout the last week of March. On April 7, I experienced what I believed to be implantation bleeding (same as with first pregnancy) and for the following week (week three, technically) I experienced mild cramping. Since, I've had consistent cervical mucus, sore breasts, etc.. Now 5 days late, faint positives on some tests, negative on others. I feel like I'm losing my mind!! Could I have gotten pregnant so soon? Is it a bad sign if the line is not getting any darker over the last week? Help!

Am I pregnant or not?!
So sorry for your loss, that must have been so hard. You would expect with a viable pregnancy for the tests to get darker certainly over a week but there can be exceptions. I think I'd go to the docs if I were you as they can get you a scan to see what's going on. Wishing you lots of positive vibes and baby dust that you'll be cuddling your rainbow baby soon xx
I'm so sorry for your loss. I found out I was pregnant while vacationing in January and was also bleeding. I began to obsess and took way too many pregnancy tests, many lines were lighter than the original test and I continued to assume the worst. After I got home they immediately did an internal ultrasound and confirmed it was a viable pregnancy (was around 7 weeks). The reason I had been bleeding was because I had a very low progesterone level so the dr prescribed me medication and after that it stopped. I suggest making a dr appt but don't worry about faint lines on the test. I have read that time of day as well as how much you have drank can affect the pregnancy tests.
