I have lost my mucup plug this morning and was wondering if I needed to ring my midwife or not.

If you are term then wait till have contractions.

If you are not term give them a call. If waters go give them a call. It also depends if your plug is very bloody, a little bit is normal a lot is not.

I'd have a look at the pregnancy book too lots of info in there. If in doubt err side of caution and call

I agree with the previous answer. It's your second baby so not long now hopefully. On my last baby I remember loosing it gradually and it took a few days more. Wishing you all the best and hope you meet your bundle of Joy soooooon 😊

Thanks guys I'm 36 weeks today. Only got 10 days till I'm being inducted anyway hopefully start naturally xx

A very exciting time but unfortunately it doesnt always mean a labor trigger... i lost 2 mucus plugs. I think my 1st one was lost about 1.5 wks before I delievered. So it may be close compared to overall pregnancy, but it still could be days or weeks... every body is different.
