I don't feel okay..

So, as far as I know, I'm about 9 weeks pregnant, the earliest midwife appointment I can get is the 10th November. For about 4/5 weeks I have been feeling so very very unwell, seems like the usual pregnancy things, nauseous, extremely dizzy, headaches, tired.. there are a few extra though, palpitations, blood pressure of approx 155/105, extreme exhaustion - sleeping 16-20 hours a day and now I am yellow :-( on top of all of that, when I went for an ultrasound 3 weeks ago (to find the coil I had fitted 18months ago) the hospital found "something" wrong with my kidney/bladder and I'm waiting for an appointment :-( anyone got any ideas what's wrong with me? Please..

It sounds like you are describing jaundice, my little one had it when she was first born. I'd go to the hospital, I don't know much about it, only what the midwife told me but she did say if left it can be extremely serious so I would go ASAP

You need to see your gp ASAP. Being yellow is never normal for an adult (unlike babies). Also that blood pressure needs to be rechecked and possibly medicated. Who checked your blood pressure if I can ask? Did they not suggest to follow it up? The palpitations can be due to a variety of things but should be looked into. Stress could easily cause the latter but not the yellowness. This is not something the midwife will normally deal with anyways they ask you to see your gp, so please do

Yellow skin is a sign of jaundice, which means that there's a problem with your liver. The thing is, everything that you're describing could be serious or it could be something simple like a viral infection (I've had a virus for 4 weeks now at 15 weeks pregnant - so I can't tell when morning sickness ends and the virus continues) . I'm a little confused as to why your doctor hasn't followed any of these symptoms up....if you've been to see a doctor?? I doubt it has anything to do with the pregnancy but high blood pressure and a possible infection that could increase your core temp would definitely need to be dealt with as a priority if you are pregnant. Stop worrying and waiting and get an emergency appointment today.

Thank you for your replies. I went to the dr this morning, again he was shocked to see me back as last time I saw him he told me there's was no way I could be pregnant! And when I said I don't feel well - he said that I looked fine. *sigh* .. anyway, I went with a list of my symptoms, he checked my BP and agreed that it was high, he doesn't think I'm yellow and all the other symptoms are just part of being pregnant. I don't feel reassured in the slightest, just feel like I'm wasting people's time and yet I feel so out of character and sorts :-(
