I am worried

I went to the doctor today and had vaginal ultrasound doneSarah I am 6 weeks and 3 days they seen a sec but no baby should I be worried or concerned about this

6 weeks is still so early, there's really not very much for an ultrasound to see at this point. I wouldn't be worried unless the doctors have given you cause to be, so I would try and stop worrying (easier said than done, I know!) as that's probably the worst thing you can do. I'm sure everything will be fine

I had a scan when I was 6 weeks and you could see the baby. I would say that you are less then 6 weeks, I would ask to have another scan in fortnight.

I was told that they cannot clearly see baby and heartbeat before 8 weeks, so my clinic never scan before this time for that reason.

I had the same situation 3 times and it wasn't good news. I had a missed miscarrage each time., however on the 4th try they saw a small sac at 5 weeks. Thr baby then progressed. Ask for another scan at 8 weeks. It should be visible then if it's progressing. Fingers crossed for you x

1st Scans are normly done around 8wKs or later as they can see and hear the heart beat by 8week. due to my medical history I had my scan early in 6weeks and they only saw two sac (as it's twins) but only at my 8weeks scan did I see and hear both the heartbeats confirming a twin pregnancy So I think u have nothing to worry about hun, try to relax and wait till ur next scan. I'm sure everything will turn out great x

I'm 10 weeks I has a scan at 6 weeks and there was no baby. 10 days later there was my little peanut try not to worry I know I did!! But I'm sure everything is fine all mums are different and it also depends on the angle of your womb to how easily it can be seen
