I am 9 weeks pregnant now. I am waiting for first visit to a hospital and hear from midwife. No scans so far. I am worried if my pregnancy is healthy or not.

How have you managed to find out about the health of baby before 9 or 10 weeks?

you can pay for a private scan, they’re around £40. Do a Google search for your area - there is a chain that has locations across the UK. Lots of luck

The only way you can find out beforehand is if you pay for a private scan. Are you having any worrying symptoms? Like pain or bleeding? If you are then speak to your gp pans they can refer you to get a scan early.

I know the first 12 weeks are so intense, especially when you’re waiting for that first scan.

Gosh I remember waiting those 12 weeks. It feels like decades! You just want it to hurry up and come.

But as others have said you can always go for a private scan. If you're not having any pains or bleeding it's probably fine and you can just wait for the exciting day.
