Hi Hun, a friend of mine had that, and in her case it turned out to be harmless. While the uterus was stretching, a few little blood vessels ruptured. It kept coming back throughout the pregnancy, and her healthy son now is 10 years old. Just try to keep calm and try not to worry too much. Do you have a midwife yet? Otherwise maybe you could go to a&e?

I second newlywed. It is generally harmless in most cases and is not seen as an issue unless its. Right red blood. For oeace of mind though i would phone your midwife or maternity triage unit at the hospital. If they know u r concerned they will happily bring u in and check u both out x

I had bleeding from the day after I missed my period for a month. .. Some times it would be pink... Then Brown then red it was a horrible anxious time and I had to wear a panty liner everyday. ..I had it in my first pregnancy and I bled for 3 months. ..I took it as my hormones.... women have big bleeds and everything is fine. ...if it persists then go and see ur gp they can refer u for a scan to check everything is ok... congratulations xx
