Early labour for me lasted 4wks. I had strong braxton hicks that became regular most nights but then lost steam and went irregular again. I trickled waters throughout that time and finally gave birth on my due date.

Listen to ur body, u will know. Look out for signs and get checked over if ur not sure. Don't let them tell u "no", that was my only regret x

I saw midwife thursday and she said baby was head down and my braxton hicks are now becoming stronger and I dont feel well in myself. Could this be a sign xx

many women can describe their feeling of the start of labour in different ways but feeling nauseous and maybe signs of your mucus plug coming away are definite signs.

The best way to know for sure is to try and keep a rough time of any braxton hicks or contractions you are feeling and if they seem to get closer together (in feeling) its most likely the start of labour.
