I feel horrendous and baby sick too. How on earth did our mums do it?

Oh no!
Its amazing how our mothers raised a barrel full of kids back in days isn't it
As you are breastfeeding it might be best to try things like some honey & lemon or lime to possibly help shift any phlegm in your throat/ chest & if you're feeling really bad 2 paracetamol's shouldn't hurt!
x
I would imagine paracetamol is fine providing you don't give little one any calpol too? Hot water with honey, lemon should really help! Xx
No further suggestions from me just empathy. Had nasty cold this week, gave it to the poor baby too. Thoroughly miserable. In fact he bore it much more stoically than I did! Get well soon! Xx
Make ur own honey and lemon drink and steam..apart frm paracetamol theres not alot u can take. Hope you get btr soon. We bought a vapouriser tht u can hav in ur room tht releases vicks stuff tht might help u at night and they r ok for babies over 3 months..there might b others who can b used frm birth x
Olbas oil on a tissue in the bedroom when you sleep, baby Vic for LO (and you!), steamy baths, and paracetamol is fine. If LO is bunged up you can get saline drops / spray to clear their passages - helps them sleep (and you). Hope you feel better soon xx
Ibuprofen and paracetomol.
Check the drugs in breastmilk page and google the ‘bfn drugs factsheets’ for more information on what you can take when breastfeeding they have loads of topics covered x
