My Weight at beginning of this pregnancy was 63kg (was 'overweight' for my height and build) im now down to 49kg all skin and bones, I put it down to feeding lil man but I hate it! I feel so umshaply! Will I put some back on once I stop bf? Or shall I pig out! My hv answer was to eat lots of snickers! Xx

I have a feeling a lot of women are going to envy your weight loss!! I wouldn't pig out, no, but just make sure you eat healthily. Breastfeeding does use up a lot of calories so it's normal, my friend was thinner than ever with her third daughter and it was all down to breastfeeding. She put it back on after though and was a bit gutted ;-). If it bothers you that much, why don't you mention it to your health visitor or doctor?

I know, I was chuffed at the start when it was falling off but now I just feel to thin for me if that makes sense. Well my ds has got 9 month development check next week so im planning on speaking to hv about it.

I hate to sound like im moaning about it cz its so silly but like I say it just too much xx thanks for your reply :-) hope your well xx

If a health professional told me to eat loads of snickers I would gladly oblige ;-)

A combination of breast feeding and running around after your other two is probably the cause. Do you eat well and regularly? Try to have 3 good meals a day and a couple of snacks in between to keep your calories up. My weight has dropped off from breast feeding both of mine, although I haven't got my shape back yet after giving birth to baby#2 in October (everyone said it would be harder second time!). I've just started exercising again to try to help things along.

I expect when you finish feeding your weight will creep back up. Keep healthy in the meantime :-) x

Hi hun, yes it fell off with my first too but I really struggled with number 2 maybe that's why I noticing it more now :-\ lol well I do love snickers :-D I eat well, not a huge amount of snacks but we all eat breakfast lunch and dinner together. Thanks for your reply lovely hope your well xx

Oh no!

If only i could give you some of this extra weight ive gained around my thighs & Bum through this forum hey!!

:)

but i do know how you feel as when i gave birth to my 1st child in 2008 i think i must of dropped something of the equivalent of 4 Lb's in 1 month.

it would of been fine if i was overweight but back then i was a very slight young woman to begin with so it didnt look too great.

the best way i found to back a few extra pound then was to eat a portion of carbohydrates with every meal like, potatoes, rice, pasta & things like that.

xx

Lol I know imagine how it feels after three lol :-D xx

Oh how I could go for a Snickers right about now!

Have you heard of a drink called Complan? You can buy them from places like Boots...they're the opposite to Slim Fast basically. I've had them before, and drinks like that are made to build up weight, without having to eat rubbish food. They're not the nicest things in the entire world, but they help!

Otherwise, incorporating extra snacks or larger portions into your diet will help - it doesn't have to be a huge amount - an evening snack of cereal, or an extra spoonful of carbs might help, too?

I imagine you will drop it when you stop bf. It burns a lot of calories! I get told I don't look like I have had a baby all the time! Been fir my wedding dress fitting today and the seamstress didn't believe I'd had Hugo 7 months ago! X
