its up too u and when u feel comfortable. I wud buy nappies on amazon as they r cheaper than supermarkets, I got 196 pampers for £18 in sainsburys they r £10 for about 60, also amazon is gd for wipes. I got plain white vests frm tescos as u go through them like anything and they r cheap, if u want to start buying..write a list of what u need then maybe bit by bit buy bits off the list..also try ebay there will b a lot of people selling unwanted xmas gifts tht u can probs get a few bargains.

I've been asking myself the same question, especially as it's sale time! I'm just 11 weeks, my scan in two weeks, but have bought some clothes from the Next sale as they looked so cute. Go for it if you want to! Good luck Xx

I bought some little bits after my first scan but bought majority after the next scan. Most of the bigger stuff was bought between 30-40 weeks. Mainly it was just a case of space and buying things as and when I wanted to. Its all up to what you feel happy with :D

i bought as and when i spotted the bargains. I seen a £300 mamas n papas pram on sale 2nd hand on facebook for £60 in excellent condition when i was 9weeks pregnant and bought it. It really does depend on personal preference and how comfortable u feel doing it. I have since gradually built up my baby stuff and now at 35weeks have only got to get a baby bath and some nursing bras. As ive bought gradually when I spotted a bargain or two, I havent noticed the financial strain yet. If u want to buy in some stuff, I'd recommend that u follow ur heart :) xx

Congratulations 1st of all, its such an exciting & nerve wracking time during the 1st few months of pregnancy but I personally think its never too early to start buying the Lil things like you mentioned "unisex outfits" & etc....

I'm in the same situation. I'm 11 weeks+3 and have got my 1st scan on the 31st Dec, which'll make me just under 12 weeks. I've said to my partner that once I know everything is alright after the scan, that I'm dragging him to all the baby stores to buy some bits while in the sales, as there are some real bargains at the moment. Part of me still thinks it's too soon, but then on the other hand as I saw someone else write on one of these noticeboards "anything can happen during your pregnancy at anytime", so don't really think buying things early will make any difference.

my dear,iy doesn't really matter when you stayto shop for baby. I bought my baby's cot and swing when I was 10 weeks as they.were massively reduced. then every other thing one after other, thanks to God I was able to crab what I can as I am too tired to go out shopping now I am 33weeks plus. Get what you can now... my pram I got it when I was 20 weeks.
