So I'm not even pregnant, I just have a sickness bug BUT I am the WORST sick person ever!! (When it comes to throwing up) normally I just sleep all day when sick but today I need to be up as lots happening at home and I'm the only one about and I can't stand this feeling.. Is there anything I can do or take to just make this feel easier!

Oh dear you poor thing. It's bad enough being sick but having to cope with a wee munchkin as well and christmas just around the corner! There is not too much you can do unfortunately- lots of fluids and maybe some tea and toast or bread and butter - something really bland. Also you should try to rest. Nobody expects us new mums to be superhuman ...except ourselves!!! Hope you feel better soon lady.

Thank you, mums off to go and grab some as I've just gotten worse x

Sorry it this is too late, only just seen it. Someone on a mummy group I belong to recommended BRAT - banana, rice, apple sauce and toast. Haven't tried it yet myself. Except rice for diarrhoea, which worked well. Hope you're feeling better.

Thank you :-) wouldn't apple sauce be to sugary? I've tried toast but I'll try the rice now

Perhaps the apple sauce is to get some sugar into you?? I don't like apple sauce so it would probably make me more sick!

My mum always did something with raw eggs and milk, but just the thought of that makes me want to puke!
