Post 3 Weeks tmw

and still bleeding not much but when I went to toilet today passed a big blob of tissue and blood. .. anyone had this? Midwife told me bleeding usually stops around 3 Weeks but doesn't seem like it to me!

I bled on and off for 5 weeks then it got horrendously bad and I started the pill at 6 weeks to slow it down and after 2 weeks it finally stopped!

Oh but I had a c section so could be a different thing altogether lol

I must say (compared to my 1st birth experience) I haven't seem to have bled much bearing in mind this is now day 5 for me.

Considering My son's birth weight was much "heavier" than this Lil one could also be playing a part.

I guess I'll have'to wait & see.

My midwife said could be up to 6 weeks, mine stopped just before 4 weeks mind x

I bled quite heavily for 5 weeks and yeh had bits of tissue. It will probably get lighter as the weeks go on x

Mine stopped at 9 weeks. All of my friends lochia persisted to 6 weeks plus. The more active you are the longer it persists.

If you keep passing large clots ( a few one offs are ok) the call Mat Triage as you should have a TVS to make sure there are no retained products... Xx

This was the first clot I've had well it was more like a bloody blob of tissue.... but I can't walk too far as have a horrible dragging feeling at the bottom of my stomach. been like it since I've had him

The dragging is possibly a small cystocoele - keep up your pelvic floor exercises and mention in to your GP at your 6-8 week check xx

I'm pretty sure I bled heavy for say 14 days then it got lighter and older blood but was still wearing pads for another few weeks but we're all different. x

As with the other ladies I bled for 6 weeks and then about a week later had period too. A few weeks after that bleeding started again as I was overdoing it!

All back to normal now at 12 weeks.

Mine stopped at 7 weeks.. I passed a few big blood clots was terrified as I had retained placenta in my last pregnancy, but all ok this time I was just over doing it!! I also started the pill on my 6 week check and it helped with the bleeding I think, everyone is so different xx
