2021 I had my first child, I was bleeding from 8 weeks through to the birth (26 weeks + 5 days) due to a sub-chronic haematoma. I recently found out I’m pregnant and I’ve been debating termination due to my first child’s medical condition (under consultant care for a PDA with possibility of needing a heart operation to close) but last night I had cramping and today I’ve been bleeding on and off with a few small clots. Nothing like the haematoma during the last pregnancy, I tried talking to my doctor but they said it has nothing to do with the pregnancy and because im not sure what I would like to do regarding this pregnancy they won’t help me. When my first child was born I was neglected by both hospitals I went to because they didn’t believe I was in labour and ignored my contractions due to my autism and anxiety. Because of this I’m struggling to understand what’s going on and what route to take. Do I just wait and see or do I seek medical attention??

3 weeks pregnant and bleeding aswell as cramping!! Help!!
Your doctor wouldn't normally get involved in your pregnancy journey, you'd register with your midwife and they'd get you booked in at around your 8th week of pregnancy. If you've already spoken to your midwife, you could call them and ask to be looked at, they may be able to test your HCG levels to see if they can advise you. They may be able to refer you to the early pregnancy unit.
It could also be a chemical pregnancy, which is a very early miscarriage that happens before 5 weeks, if you're having bleeding and cramps, you could try taking another pregnancy test in a week or two and see if your still testing positive.
You could also connect the Bpas, they. look after people seeking terminations so they might be able to offer you more advice.
Could you contact the closest early pregnancy unit. You can normally see them if there is a problem before your midwife appt.
You could phone 111 and see if you are able to be seen in the early pregnancy assessment unit. I had some spotting at 6 weeks and they saw me very promptly. Unfortunately it sounds like you may be having a chemical pregnancy, there may be very little they can do I’m afraid, but it is worth trying. I’m sorry you haven’t had good support now or in your previous pregnancy.
I would call 111 or call your midwife / gp. If you are miscarrying you don’t necessarily need to see a doctor. I miscarried last year, as I knew what was happening I just stayed at home, but I did have a check up the following week. However I think you still need to speak to someone to rule an ectopic which can be dangerous. I also had one of these years ago which resulted in surgery.
If your cramps do become severe then just go straight to your closest A&E department.
It could be nothing as bleeding in pregnancy can be completely normal. I bled with both of my babies. But if you are passing clots and the pain becomes intense then go to the closest hospital. They can’t turn you away.
Xx
Do you mean 3 weeks pregnant? That means your period is due next week so it could just be your period and the test was a false positive
