Moderate candida species at 37 week

Hiya, I got letter that says I have a moderate growth of candida species in my vagina. Today is friday and I cant get any medicine what will I do until monday? If I go to pharmacy can I take the medicine with my report? i had Canesten Trush Cream is usually GP gives that?

You would be able to get it over the counter at a pharmacy but would have to pay without the prescription. You would also probably need the pessary treatment as it is harder to get rid of during pregnancy and you cant have the tablet x

It is extremely common, I think most pregnant ladies get it and it is not harmful for baby. nhs.uk/chq/Pages/1101.aspx?...

Thank you for the reply. Whenever heard the infection I was really worried. Luckily, I dont have thrush I have white discharge. I thought that white discharge because oof the pregnancy.

i have had the pessary and cream throughout my pregnancy so far (am 17 weeks) prescribed by dr...so am sure it must be fine
