My baby is now 2 months old and I know it's the time for immunisation.. just wanted to know if I need to book an appointment with my surgery or they will send me a letter regarding this?

As far as Im aware the NHS usually send you a "reminder" letter for you to contact your registered G.P to book an appointment.

xx

My son was given his immunisation appointment when I registered him. I'd give the surgery a call and chase it up x

Ps. Obviously when I say "registered" I mean at the gp! Not when I got his birth certificate! :D

My gp sent me a letter with my appointment. I didn't need to ask for one. He had his injections at his 8 week gp review. But by the sounds of it, other places do it differently so I'd maybe give them a ring and ask, or maybe ask your health visitor? X

I had to call up for mine x

As mentioned by the other ladies think this must vary. I automatically had an appt letter through from my docs. Prob best to chase although not a nice appt for them - it wasn't as bad as I thought. He was smiling away until she injected him! Martyred quickly with cuddles after though xxx

Should say settled quickly!
