loss of vision

I'm 10ish weeks and last night I felt really ill and quite suddenly my vision started to go. It was like when you stand up too quickly and see spots but this got worse for around 30 minutes and then gradually faded again leaving me with a headache thats still there today. I wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar?

Yes it is probably a vision migraine...I first had them when I was pregnant with my first child 13 yrs ago now. Was quite scarey. Only had a handful since then but definatly more common for me when I am pregnant. Worth checking with your Dr though but sounds to me like that's what it was xxx

Always best to get checked out vision and headaches can be a sign of pre eclampsia and can happen at any time. .. it could be just a migraine but always best to get checked x

Had had this a lot, was just one of those things in my case but go get it checked as it can be a sign of pre eclampsia x

Could also be high blood pressure so yes definitely go see your doctor for a check up x

thanks everyone. The doctors are stumped and it's happened again. its not pre eclampsia or high blood pressure (phew) so they're thinking its some sort of migrane. Hopefully its a pregnancy thing for me and will go away again in 6 months! xx
