Second trimester dizziness and fainting is really common - I fainted a few times from 15-20ish weeks. Be sure to eat regularly, drink lots and lots and sit down if you start to feel a bit off before you fall down!

If you are getting lots of dizzy/faint spells or if they're prolonged give your midwife a call just in case your blood pressure is low - I'm sure there's nothing to worry about though :-)

thank you , you said everything i was thinking it was but you just worry its something more :)

Yes, i pretty much agree with the last reply made by "dons88" . Ive also had a couple of dizzy, fainting spells (espicially a few weeks ago when the weather was really warm).

The best thing i do to combat it now is if im planning to go a few places "which would mean im not getting home in a few hours" i try to take a couple pieces of fruit, some biscuits & maybe 2 bottles of water.

xx

I have had quite a lot of dizziness, particularly on hot days and mentioned it to my midwife at my 16 week appointment the other day. She reassured me it is perfectly normal and often linked with your hormones and muscles. She said just to sit down whenever you feel dizzy and keep your fluids up. I do know how you feel though, was really worrying me too, but apparently it's really normal and common :)
