After trying for a baby for 4 years finally had a missed period 5 days ago. Done 3 tests all of which were positive. In disbelief drove to tescos 11.30pm to get a clearblue digital. POSITIVE! We are finally having a baby. I am having some period like pains and an feeling very bloated. Any one know if this is common? GP said its nothing to worry about.

Yeah! Congratulations. That is wonderful news. We were 3 and a half years and like you could hardly believe it. Try to relax and go with it. Pregnancy is such a journey! I'm nearly 31 weeks now so nearing the end of my journey! X

Woohoo congrats.... Yes it feels like u may come on but u don't nerve racking but it does pass then morning sickness kicks in well for some. ... and it makes u feel better but then u can't wait for it to stop then 12 weeks u feel better. .. and then u start showing. .. is such an amazing time from start to finish :) x

I am so thrilled for you, your story really moved me. Well done for sticking through the tough times as I am sure there must have been many. I am on my third month of trying (due tomorrow) and I feel differently from the last 2 months but who knows. Hearing stories like yours give me the courage to carry on, if you can give it 4 years then I can certainly stop complaining after 3 months.

I really admire you.

Congratulations! x
