I have a weird tingling feeling in my back and sometimes it feels numb. It seems to cover quite a small area, and is located on the left side of my back just under my shoulder.
This has been happening for about a three days now. Should I be worried?

Hey hun.im not sure.could you have injured yoursrlf somehow xx
Hiya.didnt have any injury.it started 3days ago.i went out for all day with family and had my back on my shoulder so i thought maybe thats why.but then its been too long now i think.i get pins and needles in my arms as well so maybe thats got something to do with it?trip to gp tomorrow ...
Aww bless you! How many weeks are you? I used to get pins and needles in my wrists when I'd been sleeping on them funny etc. Best to get checked though my 5week old got conjunctivitis I think so trip to doctors for us too xx
I'm 31 weeks so still got looong way to go.i know 9weeks is nothing but it seems like i've been pregnant years lol.i'll go doctors cos my midwife is not bothered plus never answers her phone.i hope your baby wont suffer too long.i remember when my son had it as a baby i used...breast milk(my health visitor told me about it).but i still took him doctors.he may get some drops but i'm not sure from what age you can give it to a baby...bless him.i hated having glued eyes.it must be so scarry for little bubba like that.hope he gets better xxxx
I'm a long way from being a doctor but I did do my elbow in a while ago and that turned out to be a trapped nerve in my shoulder making my hand go tingly and pins and needly. It might be that you've trapped a nerve or something somewhere...
I would get it checked out, not because it's likely to be anything serious but if it is a minor injury and you don't do the right exercises it can heal in not quite the right way and you can end up having an ongoing niggle with it.
If you can afford it, a good physio would be able to help... doctors actually tend to not particularly do anything with that sort of minor injury.
get well soon! xx
I know it does feel like that, my first two were both a week early so I was sort of expecting the same with ollie but he was 3 days late and the smallest! How old is yr son? Is he looking forward to having a brother or sister? Yes I got told about breast milk- did it help yr son at all? Xx
Thank you both for your replies.its sounds like trapped nerve so i'll definitely visit gp.he probably wont be helpful but if not then i go for physio.i'm on their system as i have pelvic pain as well.i'm just falling to pieces lol.
princes2princess1:my son is a big boy now.nearly 9(two days before my due date).he cant wait for his sister to be born(so do i now. Hopefully my aches will end ).i know age gap is so big but after traumatic delivery with him i wasnt mentally ready.breast milk definitely helped him.he could open his eyes next day.worth of trying hun. Hope your baby will get better soon xx
