Toothache in pregnancy.
Hi hun.ouch! !Toothache not nice! The only thing I took for anything in pregnancy is paracetamol but im not 100pc sure but think cocodamol its stronger than paracrtamol but akways check first. Is it yr tooth or would some bonjela on yr gym help, if it doesn't ease off I would definitely get in touch with a dentist. Hope you feel better soon xx
Paracetamol is the only safe, recommended pain killer to take while pregnant. Really important you don't take muscle relaxants like Ibuprofen. Cocodamol has codeine in it, so really not a good idea unless the dosage has been prescribed by your GP.
You need to go to the dentist. And dentistry is free while you're pregnant -so it would be silly not too.
Sorry Queenie78 you are right bout not taking Co-codamol in pregnancy ive got mixed up with when I was given penicillin when pregnant. Sorry for any confusion I blame having children lol xx
LOL No worries
do u have ur exemption card yet if u do you get free dentist and pescriptions, maybe go to dentist and if they need to do anything u wont have to pay for it. x
Go have a chat with the pharmacist - they're really helpful. Also if you've got your exemption card then book in with the dentist, if not ask your midwife for the form; mine gave me one early xx
