I concluded chemotherapy and radiation therapy for cervical cancer in Mid May. But I first had a radical hysterectomy 6 weeks before the adjuvant treatment. During treatment I was experiencing a lot of stomach pain and mucus in stool, which never really resolved. Now I'm seeing bloodline my stool abd this is freaking me out. Did anyone experience this???

I had similar treatment in 2017, also for cervical cancer and experienced a lot of episodes of bleeding with bowel motions. I was referred urgently for a sigmoidoscopy and diagnosed with radiation proctitis.

Did you have tummy pain along side blood in stool?

I did experience some stomach pain/discomfort, especially if I overdid things, but it didn't seem to be associated with the bleeding.

Good to hear you're seeing a specialist tomorrow.

hey I had this as well. Got sent for colonoscopy and they discovered I have chronic ulcerative colitis due to treatment.
