Hi all,

Just wondered does anyone else experience nausea and insanely painful hips and low back when they wake up? Seems to be related to when my bowels are worse 🤷‍♀️

It’s strange but yes! This isn’t a daily occurrence for me but certainly several times a week and definitely on the days I’m in and out of loo all morning. I hadn’t given it much thought before and as ever just put it down to age!!!

I’m guessing it’s an inflammatory response that sets off everything in pelvis as everything is so close together. I can get chills, fatigue, aching pelvis, slight raise in temp too when I have bigger flares so I guess this would make sense with inflammatory response. I had the same before my diagnosis but then it was an inflammatory response to the tumour whereas now it’s as a consequence of radiation. The gift that keeps on giving!

Yes, I do! I finished chemoradiation for cervical cancer about 10 months ago and go through flares of what I can only describe as inflammation. It travels around my pelvis, but my hips are always playing up to some degree.
