I saw these live in the 70s supporting Santana. Santana were disappointing but Earth Wind & Fire were absolutely fantastic and knocked the spots off of Santana.

Earth Wind and Fire made it, everything Santana did was like a variation of Samba Pa Ti. Don't get me wrong, I love Samba Pa Ti, it's hubby's and my record but when everything else sounded like it, it got rather boring. We'd taken my sister-in-law to see Santana as a treat as she was staying with my in-laws but even she was disappointed.
Oh that’s a shame. I love the early stuff of Santana. Also love Earth Wind and Fire and they were always meant to fantastic live😊
Yes, we do too, fanastic group just not on the only occasion we have ever seen them live. 😒 I can't sing EW & F's praises high enough, it you ever get the chance, go for it. xx
