Today I visited this beautiful postmill which was restored by our friend and 7 miles from home. It's surrounded by fields, some of rape and stands up proudly surveying the gently undulating countryside. There's a small parking area and a bridle path going over the fields to the centre of the village and church. Earlier we collected our free range eggs and had coffee in a pod which had 2 sides up but felt warm and sheltered. An uplifting morningπ My Miss Molly the sheep is about to birth her twins... Watch this space!

How lovely diana. Your friends have done a fantastic job there. Good luck to your Miss Molly, hope all goes well. π€ x
What a beauty diana1998. Sending warmest best wishes to Molly the sheep for her impending birth! Hope all goes smoothly!
Here's hoping
Oh what a lovely place to visit. Lucky you. Looking forward to seeing photos of the little lambs when they arrive.X
That looks really good Diana and it's so lovely to see the Rapeseed in the distance. What an excellent way to enjoy a coffee in the outdoors and keeping you protected from the wind at the same time. Sounds like a perfect day to me.
Can't wait to see Miss Molly's twins.ππ
Molly is a very experienced mum. She had twins last year, 2 boys. They keep the girls so fingers crossed for 2 little girlie's. The pods were just the job!π
Aww bless her, here's hoping for 2 girls. The pods sound so good.πππ
What a shot, thanks.
It's beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to show this to us.

I've always thought those wind mill things would always look so much better if there was an authentic windmill, like your friends attached to it, much more atmospheric, a bit more scenic anyway?π€π€π
That windmill/postmill was restored beautifully. Thank you for the lovely photoπ
