The owner pays me board and room. I should be making at least 2800 per month

No matter how many time I tell I need and. Contract and I’m not interested in her but for the job. She thinks all labor is free because that’s what boy friend should do

If I say anyting. She gets annoyed. I’m out of a job and back on the streets penniless and no transportation. Shelter or references. She controls the money to keep control and again a boy friend should as I sign of devotion

Extremely frustrating but I have to play the game. Watching for opportunities. She pays everyone else. Now she wants me to draw up

You are doing double the hours of a normal work pattern . If you are an established trainer you are being ripped off as for a 35 hour week £1400 per month is really low .Good trainers get paid a respectable wage in the UK

Build up your CV and have a look round . Good horse trainers are sought after .It is niche and specialist . Vent your anger in changing jobs . My sons are finding this out . They accepted lower pay to build experience but now won't be taken for a ride . Here in UK house prices have rocketed. You need a reasonable salary to buy a home in an area where you feel safe . I feel this is a basic right but you need the income to do it . You have brilliant skills . Don't be exploited .

Enclosed is ur ten thousand emotional dollars of wide sound advice and fifty thousand in thanks and gratitude

Hi Brig57,Oh life's so unfair isn't it? So many people in the world are in your situation working long hours for little reward, either financial or in terms of being appreciated. It can be soul-destroying. (I know a little about this having a husband who is an immigrant in the United Kingdom and is held back not through his ability or effort, but based on the fact that it's felt he 'doesn't belong here'.

You are welcome to vent. So long as you stay within the HU guidelines on posting, that's a part of what we do. It can relieve stress at an early stage to have a good rant or vent, and feel so much better afterwards.

It won't change the world or attitudes, but it probably stops a lot of aggression and fights! 👍😊. Be happy!
