Hi everyone,
The other day, in a telephone call with a friend, she said she'd just gone through a day where every little thing made her cry.
I know I've had this during the pandemic too, and I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people have. It's letting out our fears, frustrations, disappointments, loneliness and all the other feelings we've often had to bottle up. So I've chosen something written by Charles Dickens on the subject for today.
"Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts."
People often feel ashamed and weak because they need a good cry. But it can be such a good release and so long as it doesn't signify something deeper going on, I'd say "just let it all out!"
I hope you all have an excellent day today! π
