My friend’s birthday is today. I wished her a happy birthday. I’ll probably chill. And sometime, I’ll hang out with her.

I'm sorry Jenny you're still not great but pleased you've been able to eat and drink more.

I went on a walk with hubby this morning and then a powerwalk this afternoon, the weather has been beautiful this afternoon.

Hope you feel better very soon.

I was up before 07:00, to take Steve, the husband of one of the Age Concern lunch ladies to the County Hospital...Dropped Steve off, parked and went for a walk (he said that the hospital said that the treatment would take two or three hours).

I walked to a fish-and-chip shop the other end of town (opposite a church hall where my late wife used to teach ballet, tap and gymnastics) and got there before it opened at 12:00.

Went for a walk over the racecourse, and got a phone call from Steve saying he was ready to go home - and I was half an hour's walk away!

So.. I thought that I could get back to the cafe in my home town in time to pick up the lunch I had ordered (before I got booked to take Steve to the hospital).

Picked him up from the hospital and got stopped by the police... as my Jeep was smoking and the brake lights were coming on with the indicators. (An engine warning light had come on when I last drove (through flood water)).

Dropped off Steve, picked up lunch, went home, ate it, drove to the garage and booked the car in for Monday.

Went on up the road to the filling station and filled up the jerry can with petrol for the mower - and put diesel in the Jeep.

Stopped off and trimmed my late wife's grave (and her parents') on the way home.

...So - it was mid-afternoon by the time I got to catch up here!

Hi Jennymary. Sorry that you are still feeling under the weather. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. Rest as much as you can.

I have been to work today and just arrived home so am going to have something to eat now and then watch some TV or read.

I hope you have a good evening 🙂

Nice to hear you are feeling better.

Today I changed the bedding, caught up with the washing, went on an early walk, had my interview at 4.15 when I went away feeling I had given it my best shot which is all that matters really.

I carried on reading the murder road by Stephen booth which I am enjoying, listened to music from 2000 when I was 24 so a walk down memory lane like my trip to that leisure centre on Monday where I had my covid jab was as I used to go swimming there many years ago to their leisure pool.

Glad you are feeling a little better Jennymary. That's a good sign. I've been working on some scrapbooking, composing a picture in my latest scrapbook entitled The Teddy Bears' Picnic. I've repurposed a really pretty blue silk photo album that's been sitting unused for a long time, because we just don't have that number of actual photos any more. So instead of photo clutter, I shall eventually have scrapbook clutter!Sausage and mash for an early evening meal today before just sending hubby on his way to work!
