Sorry you’ve had a reaction to to the vaccination Jennymary, I hope you feel much better soon.🌸

I am tired after yesterday's vaccine and had a headache earlier on but paracetamol has helped but I managed a gentle walk outside round the neighbourhood earlier on, applied for some jobs, prepared for my interview that's tomorrow at 4.15pm and got on with some gaelic and started reading the murder road by Stephen booth set in the peak district and watched jaws 2.

Even though you haven’t felt 100 per cent you have still had a productive day Catgirl, good luck with the interview tomorrow. 🙂👍🤞

Thanks. As long as I know in my heart I have given it my best then that's all that matters.

I will be ready from 4pm for 4.15.

I have been out for an early walk this morning like my usual self ready to go!

With regard the the interview what I do control is my behaviour and preparation and giving it my very best.

At the moment I'm better than yesterday, arm still aching, headache hanging around but think that's more because I didn't eat or drink much yesterday, so hopefully I'll be OK by the end of today

👍👍 Intended to say I too had a bad reaction to vaccine. So am not looking forward to my next one. Am waiting to hear from anyone who has had their second Oxford jab! Hopefully reaction free!

Hi. He is well asleep again at present gave him a good brush this morning so he is looking very smart. Constantly bugging me for his favourite treat Webbox Lik-E-Lix he is mad for it and tries to break into his cat cupboard where i keep his food to get at them. What is Baby getting for her birthday?.

in reply to Jacksc06

The usual. I did another bike ride in a local park, practiced my French and discussed careers as well.

Hi Jennymary. So sorry to hear you have a reaction to the vaccine. Try to rest and hopefully you will feel better tomorrow.

I have been to work today and just arrived home so am going to have my dinner now and then watch some TV or read until bedtime.

I hope you feel better tomorrow 🙂

We both had bad reactions Jenny, mine was worse in that it lasted much longer.

I'm sure she will be fine in a few days.

Emptied my brown and green bin, my compost bin has not been emptied since November, almost broke my back putting it out, the compost in that, Whew! all good stuff, the smell almost Whew! my mother showed me how to make it break down! [Should have sold it down at DIY shop?] Should have a much better garden than pre-covid! 🙃🙄🤗😤👍

Hope you are feeling better soon. Did a zoom book club, walked the dog then groomed her. Went to the clinic to get a blood test appointment as couldn't get through by phone. Then started to try and pic, some plants for a shady border. Cooked a stir fry and felt I had run a marathon.

Hope you feel better today, my exciting day was a trip out to have a Dexa scan - just to check if I'm crumbling from the inside .........

I spent most of the day playing three songs on the piano, "oh what a beautiful morning", "ol' Man River" and "My Ship" . I kind of made a medley of them in the key of E which is a fresh key for me, like giving them a lick of paint. Must of the time was spent arranging them and putting my signature on them. It did me good.

Hope you are better today! and that it was the second dose :) . I spent all morning yesterday at the haematology department to have my regular blood checks, then walked all the way home (a long way) , then basically crashed on the sofa and thought I deserved a do nothing time! A bit of reading and some tv watching for entertainment.

This was the first dose, well done on your long walk and yes you deserved to put your feet up after a day like that

I hope you’re feeling better. I had my first dose , the Oxford vaccine and I had a reaction too. Jenny Mary I’ve just put in my post code for People near You and it says we’re 7 miles from each other!

Sorry to hear that Jenny. I too had a very bad reaction and was in bed for 24 hours. Felt really poorly. That is why I am worried about having my second jab. Nothing to do with all the hype; but I don't think I could go through that again. But, as my friends on here have said it is better than getting the virus, so I am clinging on to that!Hop you feel better soon. !

in reply to ShelWhitt

I'm sure you will be fine and wonder what the fuss was over when you get your second jab.

👍👍

Hi Jennymary, so sorry to hear that you've had quite a strong reaction to the vaccine. I'm sure that bed was the best place to be and I hope you'll start to feel better soon. 🙏

I went out on my trike and was lead by an instructor. Then I fixed mudguards which took three days. Due to nuiscences. I really do have a disability. So in the end I let someone help. And another person lent me the spanners. Ihavel ost a lot of confidence after my cataract opperationAnd lockdowns and all the stress that goes with it. For the first time in ages, I really am struggling. Hopes can be dashed so easily. Yes that injection is a real bummer if you have lots of antibodies already. Very painful joints was my complaint!!!

also the idea of just staying in bed and that stuff, um attitude.
