Clifftop walk with views over Flamborough and Bridlington

kitchengardener2 profile image

We had a lovely walk from Bridlington to Fraisthorpe. Coming back the mist had cleared to leave this fabulous view. Totally isolated on clifftop so we feel very safe. We are blessed with views like this daily and thank the Lord that we don't live in a city now.

We have been shielding since last March but because we are able to walk in such isolated places we have been able to get out most days.

I've been watching the classic ones on ITV 3. Alec Gilroys running an escort agency and Ken's one of his escorts. Jack pretended to be Ken and went one one of the dates. A large , ott man-eater. Scared the living daylights out of Jack 🤣🤣🤣I love the old ones. Much more fun and fantastic characters.

in reply to MadBunny

To be honest I hardly watch the latest I put on but end up on here or messaging my friend I can't stand some of the characters in it now

My aunt lives in Castleford and a visit to her is long overdue. I could stay with her and then visit various places. I like Whitby and the Moors too.🐰

Bridlington is nice and flat, we have a lovely old town (dad's army filmed here). Our beaches are stunning and there are lots of improvements being carried our all over town.

I went once but it was when I was a little girl. Son far back I can't remember anything about it! 😁🐰

The north landing at flamborough is really nice!

Its a great walk from bridlington up to flamborough head via the coast!

Scarborough is my favourite with the castle and the north bay!

kitchengardener2 profile image
kitchengardener2 in reply to

Yes truly lovely walks. North and South landings are very beautiful.

Must have been lovely kitchengardener2. Such a beautiful picture. Being a city dweller I'm envious and will be so happy when I can go for a good 'blow' along a beach or clifftop!

I used to enjoy views like that before becoming disabled, I enjoyed rambling and backpacking.... if only I could turn the clock back.... backpacking on the SouthWest coast path in Cornwall, and Mull in the Western Islands of Scotland, and Republic of Ireland!
