Dear All,

I am re-reading a, Very interesting, book called Incubus- by Ray Russell. I first read it, whilst I was at my Boarding School, in the Seventies (it was first published in 1976, in the UK anyway). It is Both a, very superior 'Whodunnit', and a Very thought provoking Supernatural Thriller. It was last published in 1983, so I had to 'Find' it on eBay. Apparently, according to the Book's Cover, it is also a Film- though I have never seen, or heard, of it.

If you can, like me, 'locate' a copy- I paid about £6, I think- then it is Well Worth a read. It is a Very 'well written' book, though the Author is American. (Perhaps a few Phrases we wouldn't use, over here.) I'm certainly enjoying my Re-read.

Sometimes a re-read is an excellent thing to do AndrewT. If it's been a number of years it's interesting to see if you've remembered the plot, and confirm that it is as good as it was, first time around. I have a few books that I've re-read several times, and if enough years have elapsed, it's interesting to see that I have a different understanding of the plot, through new things I have learned since reading the book first time around. The one you mention isn't a genre I really enjoy, but you give it such praise that perhaps I'll give it a try! 👍
