Hi AndrewT,I think that the nicest of people show the lives they've had, in their faces. And when media showed some of the portraits of the late Sir Tom, following the announcement of his death, I saw his kind and gentle nature, plain to be seen, in his face. He was the quintessential grandad, with twinkly eyes and a warm smile, and when he spoke, it was as a perfect gentleman. I'll remember Sir Tom not just right now, but for the rest of my life, and I know that others will too. He's someone who I think has deservedly made his place in our history books and people will speak of his contribution to the pandemic efforts in just the same way that the world knows of Florence Nightingale. 🙏

Yes, I agree. Sir Captain Tom Moore was and still is an inspiration to us all. He was a gentleman and a hero. RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore xxxx❤️🙏❤️🙏
So very well said Andrew. He was such a gentleman and his family and friends were so fortunate to have him in their lives.
My daughter and me held a 2 minute silence for him yesterday.
