Ice - slippery when wet. Geriatric teenager

I bought a Jeep because I wanted a vehicle with a tow-ball, and a friend had one he did not need.

When it snows, I get out to try to find someone who needs a tow.

This morning I came across an Ocado Sprinter van stuck on a hill - he said he was doing OK until he had to stop as someone else was driving down.

He did not have a towing eye - but a Tesco van turned up - and we borrowed his.

It was a long steep hill, covered in snow, but we got to the top.

The Tesco man backed all the way to the bottom of the very long hill - and managed to get up - and he forgot to wait to retrieve his towing eye!

I did eventually contact Tesco - and they say that someone will drop round this afternoon to retrieve the towing eye.

My goodness S11m, sometimes assistance comes from quite unexpected sources. I'm sure the Tesco driver will be so grateful that you followed up on his good deed, with your own! 👍
